The seller's item description describes them as 2.5" in overall length. This is accurate if you count the keyring. The actual balls I got are about 1.5" in length with a keyring much more massive than the one pictured (compensating for the small balls). My balls were shinier, smoother, and less veiny than the ones in the picture. I would imagine with time, my balls will pick up tarnish and look more like what you see in the image. I can't wait to give these balls to my friend. She's never seen anything like this before!
